{this moment} Sisters

November 26, 2010

{this moment} – A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

Post inspired by Soulemama‘s {this moment} series.

This is wonderful! How close are your due dates?

Another sunset. What can I say? 🙂

Thank you! We’re only four weeks apart. Her daughter was born exactly seven weeks after Shane, so they’re incredibly close in age as well.

How exciting! How far apart are your due dates? How lovely to be sharing this adventure together!

It is so exciting, and just so amazing, to be going through this along with my sister again. We were expecting at the same time when I was pregnant with Shane, my niece was born exactly seven weeks after him. This time are due dates are even closer — only four weeks apart!

You two are adorable! And I’m sure the little ones awaiting their big reveal are as well!

My sister and I were due four days apart… until Itty Bit made an early entrance and my poor sister’s last several weeks went by even slower! 🙂

    Happy Blog Anniversary too!

Well isn’t that just the cutest?! I’m sure it’s great to have someone so close going through all of this with you. When I was pregnant, all I had were numerous friends on the internet pregnant as well and even that was a huge help.

I feel so lucky to be experiencing this along with my sister…and this isn’t the first time! She was pregnant with my niece at the same time I was expecting Shane — they’re only 7 weeks apart! This time, our babies due dates are exactly a month apart, so it could get interesting if I go late and she goes early!

When I was pregnant w/ Shane, not only was my sister also pregnant, but three of my closest friends. This time there’s a few women in my mom’s group who are also expecting again, so it’s wonderful to have this little network of pregnant moms that’s developing!

How fun that you and your sister are pregnant “together.” Do you live near each other?
