“Read it Forward” Winner!

April 17, 2010

It’s time to announce the winner of my first entry in the newly debuted “Read It Forward” monthly book giveaway.  Once a month, I’ll be linking up with Julie at Foursons and Elizabeth at Confessions From A Working Mom, reviewing a book, and offering it as a giveaway on my blog.

My first entry in the giveaway was Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts…a book that had me alternately laughing out loud and scrambling for tissues.  I love the quirky characters, and the story of a young woman who somehow makes the best of the life she is living, and who creates a new family out of those who stepped in to lend her a hand when she needed it most.

So, without further delay, the winner of this first “Read It Forward” giveaway is…

Entry #1: Julie @ Foursons

Julie’s comment:
Yay, I’m so glad you linked up! Was this made into a movie? I think it was, I remember watching one with this plot. I’d still love to read the book though. If I get every single book I have said I want to read on this blog hop I am going to be a very busy woman!

Congrats, Julie!  Hopefully you didn’t win every book offered on this blog hop, or you will have an overwhelming amount of reading ahead of you!  Please email me with your mailing info so I can get the book in the mail on Monday.
