Sisterhood of the Traveling Shoes

What is the Sisterhood of the Traveling Shoes, you ask?  Well, to put it simply, we are a diverse group of women from around the world who are forever connected by an amazing pair of fun, flirty, fabulous shoes.

These shoes are traveling the world, gracing the tootsies of one blogger at a time.

• Diane of Little Bits of Nothing began it all when she freed these pink flower-bedecked shoes from her closet and sent them off to begin their journey.

• Christie of These are a Few of My Favorite Things was the first recipient of the Traveling Shoes.

• Thelma won them from Christie, and shared her many shoe-adventures.

• The shoes then made their way to Arizona to stay with Alana Jo of JoMama, where they enjoyed several outings with her.

• I became the next member of the Sisterhood when I received the shoes in April of 2010.  They celebrated Easter, were worn by my giggling toddler, enjoyed a much-needed Girls Night Out with some wonderful friends, were forgotten in the depths of my closet, and then rediscovered in time for a date night with my husband.

• The shoes are on their way “down under,” for a summer-time visit with Gina in Australia!
