About Me
My “About Me” pager has stumped me since I first established this blog. How do you distill into a simple paragraph or so who you really are? The soul-searching that one little “About Me” page can inspire is surprisingly humbling.
Who am I?
Depending on who you are, I’m a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a niece, a granddaughter, a former preschool teacher, a friend.
But I’m more than just a mere label.
I’m a semi-anxious over-thinker who’s embarking on a journey of simplifying my life. Since becoming a mother, I’ve been inspired to slow down, to fully experience every day, and to focus on what truly matters.
This blog is a reflection of me…of who I am now, and who I hope to become.
It is a collection of the little moments that make a life remarkable.
It’s a record of this incredible journey that I’m embarking upon.

I’d love to hear from you! You can contact me by leaving a comment on an entry that struck you, or e-mail me directly at: semicrunchymama (at) hotmail (dot) com.
I read every comment and email that comes in, and am striving to to reply to any questions within a day or so. Hearing from my readers brightens my day, and encourages me to continue writing and sharing in this particular place. I greatly appreciate your time and your thoughts, for what is a blog without readers? It’s just an online journal. My goal is to respond to everyone who comments, whether through a reply to your original comment, an e-mail, or a comment on your own blog.

i totally hear you on not knowing how to summarize “you” in the “about me” section…i think i just didn’t do it on mine but i think yours is well thought out and well written and i’d definitely like to get to know you better after reading this (and a few posts)…i believe we have a lot in common…i have a 5-year-old daughter, sea, and my son, story, also turns 3 in february…i found you on the mommy bloggers group on nablopomo. i consider myself probably a little more than semi-crunchy but definitely moderate among the earthy crunchy hippy type moms i hang out with. i’m loving the mommy journey and look forward to following your blog!
